Our Mission

NovellaFit exists to give women everywhere honest, practical, research-backed answers about bra fit, sizing, comfort, and care — and to replace guesswork and shop-counter folklore with clear guidance. Every piece of content is written to help you make a good decision, not to sell you a product.

Independence: We Sell Nothing

We are not a lingerie brand or a shop, and we do not sell bras, hold stock, or earn commission for steering you toward one product over another. This independence is the foundation of our credibility. It's why a guide here can tell you a cheaper local option is genuinely fine, or that padding won't fix a band problem. Advertising keeps the Site free, but advertisers have no influence over our recommendations.

How We Research

Our content combines established lingerie-fitting knowledge with the realities of the real-world market. We prioritize credible, authoritative sources, including:

  • Established bra-fitting principles and garment-construction guidance
  • Reputable medical sources for any health-related claims (e.g. skin, breast pain, pregnancy)
  • Manufacturer sizing systems and published size-conversion standards (UK, US, EU)
  • Real-world market context — the styles, availability, and pricing women actually shop

How We Use Facts and Figures

Claims are only useful if they're real. We prefer specific, sourced statements over vague reassurance, and we're clear about what is established fact versus general guidance. Where sizing or pricing varies, we say so rather than implying a single universal answer.

Opinions, Clearly Labeled

We take clear positions because "it depends" rarely helps a reader decide. When we state an opinion, we back it with a mechanism or reasoning — and we keep it distinct from sourced fact. Strong opinions, honestly earned, are part of how we serve readers; unsupported claims are not.

Accuracy and Corrections

We strive for accuracy, but we're human and standards change. If you find an error, contact us and we'll investigate promptly. We correct factual mistakes quickly, and we update guides as products, sizing, and best practices evolve. Each article shows a published and, where relevant, an updated date.

Authorship and Review

Content is published and reviewed under Umar Farooq, the founder of NovellaFit, who sets the standards on this page and is responsible for what goes live. Author information appears on every article so you always know who is behind the guidance.

AI and Software

We may use software, including AI-assisted drafting, to help research and structure content. All published content is reviewed and edited by a human against the standards on this page, and we remain responsible for its accuracy and tone. Any size calculators or fit tools we offer are built on documented assumptions and are intended as starting points, not guarantees — see our disclaimer.

Your Feedback Improves This Site

Reader questions and corrections genuinely shape what we publish and fix. If something is unclear, missing, or wrong, we want to hear it — reach us via the contact page or at umar.bwn@gmail.com.
